Adam Hummel
Adam Hummel is Of Counsel in the Wills & Estates practice group at Hummingbird Lawyers LLP.
Throughout his years of practice in the wills and estates bar, Adam has helped his clients navigate complicated matters relating to estates planning, administration, or litigation. Whether litigating complicated dependant support claims, will challenges, or applications to pass accounts at the Superior Court, or helping clients through the administration of their own loved one’s estates, Adam brings both experience and an understanding that there is a complex layer of emotion that accompanies every estates matter.
Adam frequently appears in courts throughout the Greater Toronto Area, and acts for estate trustees, beneficiaries, power of attorney for property, power of attorney for personal care, dependants and guardians. He brings a particular attention to detail to all of his files, and prides himself on being able to encourage clients to creative settlements when appropriate, or fierce advocacy when necessary.
After being admitted to the bar in 2012, Adam worked at a number of boutique law firms specializing in civil litigation, eventually growing more interested and experienced in wills and estates law. When not at work, Adam enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two young children.
